MMPI service teams are equipped to perform propeller and tailshaft repairs together with a wide variety of marine equipment servicing. Our on-site engineers will remove and fix damaged shafts, rudders and struts. Precision straightening and calibration is completed on our hydraulic press and final refit and alignment at the shipyard. This service also includes replacement and overhaul of shaft bearings and seals.

The service group are also trained to complete the overhaul of Waterjet propulsion systems and mechanical, hydraulic and electrical maintenance plus repair of steering systems, thrusters units and CPP arrangements.

In our propeller repair stations we carry out quality weld repairs, pitch adjustment using a customised hydraulic tweaker, static and dynamic balancing of propellers up to 80¨ diameter and offer a computerised propeller analysis scan using the Hale MRI measurement system. This provides the benefit of synchronised propeller loading, improved speed and fuel efficiency together with reduced vibration and noise.

All work is overseen and supervised by Marine Engineers and Naval Architects giving our customers the reassurance that all our service work is carried out to the highest standards.
